Membership Criteria

​​

Prospective members are supported to commit and demonstrate integrating sustainable practices into their business strategies, and actively participate in BCSDA's initiatives and programs:

​

    1. Commitment to Net-Zero: Setting an ambition to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions          by 2050 and having a science-informed plan to achieve it.

    2. Environmental Goals: Establishing ambitious, science-informed short and mid-term goals                contributing to nature and biodiversity recovery by 2050.

    3. Human Rights and Equality: Declaring support for the UN Guiding Principles on Business              and Human Rights and promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity.

    4. Transparency: Operating at the highest level of transparency by disclosing material                          sustainability information.

Membership Application Process

​​

Becoming a member of BCSDA is a straightforward process:

     - Enquiry: Complete the online Membership Enquiry Form, providing details about your                     organisation’s commitment to sustainability.

     - Review: Our team will assess your application to ensure alignment with BCSDA's mission and         values.

     - Approval: Upon successful review, you will receive a confirmation email with further                           instructions and completion of the Application Form.

    - Onboarding: New members will then participate in an orientation session to familiarize                     themselves with BCSDA’s resources and network.

 

Membership Fees

​

Membership fees are structured based on the size and type of your organisation and your interest and appetite for engagement:

    - Large Enterprises

    - Medium Enterprises (up to 199 employees)

    - Small Enterprises (up to 20 employees)
