BCSDA sees significant corporate interest in understanding Net Zero implementation

With the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Egypt just 4 months away, Australia is well positioned to have a stronger role thanks to the new Australian government’s commitment to taking action on climate change and moving towards Net Zero.


A new article by Rachel Alembakis in FS Sustainability looks at how the implementation of commitments made at COP26 in Glasgow is now coming more into focus, with Australian companies trying to understand the best approach while also grappling with their need to address Scope 3 emissions (supply chain). BCSDA is working with these companies to demonstrate what companies around the world are doing to address decarbonisation, and is urging many to attend COP27 in person to help them better recognise the pace of change globally.
